About
ECU Centre for People Place and Planet will host the first public screening of the Transformative Aboriginal Agricultural Methods documentary. This project illustrates an innovative landscape rehydration project in the Wheatbelt Perenjori region. In this project contemporary Aboriginal agricultural methods were developed alongside several farming sites. Transdisciplinary and yarning research methods were included alongside a range of soil moisture, biome, and carbon measures.
Beautiful drone footage and commentaries from some of the project team as Aboriginal Lore man Clint Hansen, ECU Researchers Dave Blake and Janine Joyce, and local Farmers Rod and Katrina Butler (Gimlet Ridge farm) and Phil Logue (Weelhamby farm) share their learnings about the project and subsequent changes on country.
