About
Join LUCE DUET for an intimate program of special works for two cellos at the cosy Cross Street Music Hall. Settle into a comfortable chair, enjoy a drink, and let LUCE DUET take you on a musical journey spanning the 1800s to the 2020s.
Alongside rediscovered works from the cello duet repertoire, LUCE DUET has been collaborating with composers across Australia and New Zealand to create new works that expand the repertoire for two cellos. We are delighted to present two very special works: The Five States of Mind by Chris Adams and Cellos Calling by Anthony Ritchie (World Premier).
Come and experience the unique sound of two cellos, from intimate and lyrical to powerful and expressive, in an evening celebrating both the history and future of the cello duet.
