Ancient Greece ~ Magic and Medicine (Melbourne, 7y-13y)
About Magic and Medicine ~ The Origins of Medical Knowledge.
Ever wondered how ancient Greeks healed their sick and prepared themselves for
upcoming events? In this 90 minute workshop, students will discover the magic and
medicine used by the ancient Greeks. Children will be invited to explore artefacts
before getting a chance to create their own herbal remedies and write their own magic
health incantation to take home with them.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION:
AGE & PRICE: Child entry: $25. This excursion is designed for children aged 7y - 13y. Sorry, not
preschool age children.
Adult entry: free. Due to the capacity of the room we kindly ask to limit one parent per
student for this workshop.
TIMEFRAME: Arrival at the Hellenic Museum at 1:15pm. Guided Tour of the artefact and workshop will
begin at 1:30pm
