Join us for a powerful evening of awareness, community, and hope as we premiere the remade Gippsland Homelessness DocumentaryThis important event shines a light on the growing reality of homelessness across Gippsland, sharing the stories of people whose lives have been impacted and recognising the incredible work of frontline organisations supporting our community every day.
Following the screening, hear from a panel of frontline service providers and people with lived experience of homelessness as they share their stories, discuss the challenges facing our region, and explore how we can all be part of the solution.
JRN will also be on site with their food truck, serving meals in the same way they do through their outreach services. This gives guests an insight into the vital role community meal services play in supporting people doing it tough and highlights the compassion and dignity shown by volunteers on the frontline.
We will be collecting funds on the night that will be donated to Frankies Community Kitchen in Warragul, whose volunteers rescue quality surplus food and prepare nutritious meals for people experiencing hardship across Gippsland and Cardinia Cant make the event you can donate here https://www.trybooking.com/au/donate/gippslandhomelessdoc
