Join us for an interactive study day designed for nurses across Intensive Care, Neurology, andNeurosurgery to advance and refresh their skills and knowledge in all things neuro. Delivered by
an inter-professional team from Neurosurgery, Neurology, Intensive Care and Interventional Radiology,
this full day program will cover:
· Brain hemorrhage classification, assessment, treatment and management
· Secondary brain injury prevention and nursing management
· Stroke and epilepsy
· Coiling and embolization
· Workshop: ICP monitor set up, MRI scan set up for neuro patients, cough assistance and
much more!
Places are strictly limited to 30 x ICU Staff and 15 x 10th Floor Staff. You must be a current employee of SVHM to register and attend this study day.
