Bakkers Broadway Bootcamp
About
Bakker's Broadway Bootcamp is an exciting 5-day school holiday musical theatre workshop running 28 September – 2 October for children aged 6–13.Led by Broadway performer and teacher Sarah Bakker, this unique workshop gives young performers the opportunity to build confidence, make new friends, and develop their singing, dancing, and acting skills in a supportive and encouraging environment.
Unlike many large holiday programs, Bakker's Broadway Bootcamp is intentionally kept to a small group, ensuring every child receives individual attention, personalised coaching, and the chance to truly shine. This is a rare opportunity for your child to learn directly from a Broadway performer in an intimate setting where every student is seen, encouraged, and supported. Whether they are stepping onto the stage for the very first time or already love to perform, every child will be challenged at their own level while building confidence, creativity, and performance skills.
As both a qualified teacher and a mother herself, Sarah understands that your child's wellbeing is just as important as their enjoyment. Creating a safe, inclusive, and nurturing environment is at the heart of everything she does. Sarah holds a current Blue Card (Working With Children Check), and she is supported by experienced assistants who also hold current Blue Cards and have experience working with children. Parents can feel confident knowing their children are being cared for by a team that prioritises safety, encouragement, and positive learning experiences.
Over five action-packed days, students will explore the magic of musical theatre through engaging classes, creative activities, rehearsals, and plenty of fun. Every child will leave with new skills, greater confidence, wonderful memories, and friendships that can last long after the workshop ends.
The week culminates in a special showcase performance on Day 5, where parents and guardians are invited to watch the students take the stage and celebrate everything they've learned throughout the week.
This is far more than just a holiday activity—it's an unforgettable experience that inspires confidence, creativity, resilience, and a lifelong love of performing.
Spaces are strictly limited to maintain our small-group experience, so we encourage families to book early to avoid missing out. If you book before August 31st you will receive complimentary before and after care.
