Our Local FIRM is a group of business owners and managers who get together for lunch each month to share news, views, opportunities and challenges in business and life. We have the golden rule of "no selling" - we are there for the Fun, Inspiration, Relationships and Meaning because they are what the group is all about. At each lunch, we have a discussion on a particular subject of common interest and we collect songs from you to put on our Youtube Music playlists for everyone to enjoy. This month, we are having an important conversation about domestic and workplace violence and ways that workplaces can play a part in prevention and support for people affected by it. The conversation will be led by subject matter expert, Sammy Wright who will share lessons from her personal experience as a survivor of domestic violence and her professional experiences supporting workplaces in dealing with domestic and workplace violence. The work that Sammy does has real purpose and so our song theme this month is "meaning' - songs that you find meaning and purpose in.
