You'll learn simple techniques that are suitable for beginners and easy to put into practice at home.
During the session, you'll learn:
- how worm farms and compost bins work
- what can and can't go into your worm farm or compost
- how to turn food and garden waste into nutrient-rich compost and liquid fertiliser
- tips for maintaining a healthy worm farm and troubleshooting common problems
- practical ways to reduce the amount of waste sent to landfill.
Whether you're an experienced gardener or just getting started, you'll leave with practical knowledge and simple steps to create a more sustainable home.
Morning tea will be provided, giving you the opportunity to connect with other participants and ask questions in a relaxed setting.
