We would like to invite you to the next event hosted by the Parliamentary Friends of Latin America.PFOLA's next event will be co-hosted with the Consulate of Uruguay and will be a briefing on Uruguay.
We will be joined by Mr. Andres Arroyo, the Honorary Consul of Uruguay who will brief MP's on the business, cultural and diplomatic ties between Queensland and Uruguay.
Queensland and Uruguay have closely collaborated on reforms on fair agricultural trade, e-commerce, investment facilitation and intellectual property rights.
Recently ties have been deepened further with the signing of a social security agreement between Australia and Uruguay that will improve access to social services in both countries.
