On Wednesday 26th August, in celebration of Book Week, as well as having our Book Week Dres Up Day, we will be hosting the fabulous author and illustrator, Nicky Johnston.Nicky's picture story books include, 'Go Away, Mr Worrythoughts!', 'The Fix-It Man', 'Grandma Forgets' and 'Saying Goodbye to Barkley'.
Nicky loves visiting schools, sharing her journey of becoming a successful author and illustrator, and inspiring students to become writers and illustrators themselves.
To round out this spectacular day of celebrating Literacy, we will also be offering families the opportunity to purchase a Pop Up Canteen lunch for their children. The menu items on offer this week are;
- Hot dog
- Choc chip cookie
- Veggie chips
Please not that for catering purposes, food orders need to strictly close by Friday 21st August.
