Ged & Trudy Hintz - Live @ The Barkly Hall
Once again, as promised, local bush poet Col Driscoll has rounded up more of his talented mates to come along and perform in the second installment of Live @ The Barkly Hall.
Ged & Trudy Hintz are an award winning duo of country balladeers from NSW. For the last 10 years or so they have traveled the country organizing events and performing at festivals such as the Tamworth Music Festival, Weethalle Country Music Muster and the Channel Country Music Muster in Thargomindah, just to name a few.
Along with their great mate and fellow musician Rob Walters, they are currently touring regional NSW, Vic & SA, so after performing with them at Thargomindah recently, Col has taken the opportunity to get them along to the Barkly Hall for a lazy Sunday afternoon of music, yarns, and maybe even a bit of line-dancing thrown in for good measure. And to add a pinch of local flavor to the mix, Col has invited local bloke Jack Graydon along to open the show with a few tunes as well.
So dust off your hats, polish up the RMs, whack on your best Wrangler shirt and jeans, rustle up a few friends, bring along a plate of tucker and a drink or two, and join in the fun as we continue to keep the community spirit of the Barkly Hall alive.
Admission - $20.00/pp - online or at the door. BYO Drinks & Nibbles. You're welcome to bring a plate for a post show afternoon tea.
