Guest Lecture: Professor David Armitage
About
Professor Armitage is a world-renowned scholar of political thought and global intellectual history. He currently works at Harvard University and in 2007 published ‘The Declaration of Independence: A Global History’.This lecture is an excellent opportunity to consider important questions about the foundation of one of today’s great global powers, facilitated by a world expert. Louise Clegg, a former barrister and member of the United States Studies Centre Board of Directors, will moderate a Q&A after the event.
