The Friends of St. George's Cathedral warmly invite you to join us for a free guided Cathedral Square Walk led by renowned Perth historian and Cathedral member Richard Offen.Richard will share his wealth of knowledge and fascinating insights into some of the significant buildings and places of interest surrounding St George's Cathedral and St. Mary’s Cathedral.
The walk will take place in two stages:
Stage 1
• Meet at St George's Cathedral at 9.00 am for prayer and a 9.15 am departure
• A leisurely guided walk of approximately 1.3 km, exploring places of historical interest in and around the Cathedral precinct.
Refreshment Break (Holy Grounds)
• At approximately 10.00 am, we will return to Holy Grounds Café at the Cathedral for refreshments and fellowship (refreshments available for purchase).
Stage 2
• Those wishing to continue walking are invited to join the second stage of the walk. This is a distance of approximately 2.6 km, taking in further historic sites, including the precinct around St Mary's Cathedral, before returning at approximately 12:15pm.
The walk will be conducted at a comfortable pace with opportunities to stop and enjoy Richard's commentary.

Everyone is welcome, including non-members. We recommend wearing comfortable walking shoes, a hat, an umbrella (if rain is forecast) and bottled water.
