Members and guests are warmly invited to a fascinating Thinking at Twilight with shark expert Emeritus Professor Rob Harcourt speaking on ‘Are animals the new Oceanographers?’.This will be an overview of his work with IMOS & beyond with animal-borne ocean sensors & how they are helping us measure remote regions of the ocean & how this is changing our understanding of how we are influencing the oceans & their denizens.
