Members and guests are warmly invited to hear from Professor Arlene Holmes-Henderson (Trinity, Classics, 2005) who is visiting Sydney to undertake a Fellowship with the Australia and New Zealand School of Government.Prof Arlene Holmes-Henderson is an award-winning Humanities education specialist who conducts research, and provides training for charities, schools and universities, in the UK and worldwide. Arlene has published 7 books and 50+ peer-reviewed articles and book chapters. In 2023, Arlene was awarded an MBE for Services to Education, and in 2024 she was elected a member of the Academia Europaea. She was awarded the Classical Association Prize in 2026 in recognition of her successful efforts to widen access to the study of the ancient world in schools, colleges, and communities.
