Enda Kenny
About
Enda Kenny is an Irish-born songwriter who has made his home in Australia. Through ten independent albums, his thoughtful, descriptive stories have struck a chord with festival audiences worldwide. A string of early songwriting awards have led to a full time career as one of the best entertainers in the world of folk and acoustic music. His songs are always memorable, often hard-hitting and spiced with plenty of humour.2025 was Enda's busiest year since the 90's - Headline performances throughout the UK on his 30th Anniversary Tour including nine shows at Whitby Folk Week and main stages at Warwick, Stainsby, and Bromyard Festivals. The Sydney Morning Herald has described him as “Australia's Best Folksinger,” and Folk on Tap (UK) as “A Cracking Live Act” with songs and stories seamlessly intertwined. He is known for getting audiences to sing along and laugh out loud and continues to pack theatres and festival venues wherever he travels.
The Black Box Theatre is a seated air-conditioned venue. The concert will be hosted by local folk songwriter Karen Law and Enda will be accompanied on stage by Murray Law.
