In a world filled with constant distractions, this is your invitation to reconnect with the Book of Allah, nourish your heart, and spend a meaningful morning in the company of sisters who are also striving for a deeper connection with their faith.
This Book Club EVENT will explore the Book, Living with the Qur'an by Aliyah Rayan... a beautiful and practical invitation to build a deeper, more personal relationship with the words of Allah and discover how the Qur'an can guide, comfort, and transform our everyday lives.
Living with the Qur'an encourages us to engage with it as a lifelong companion. Through heartfelt reflections and practical insights, the book reminds us that every verse has the power to bring clarity, healing, hope and direction, no matter what season of life we find ourselves in.
More than a book discussion, this gathering is an opportunity to reflect on how we can move beyond recitation into truly living the Qur'an. Together, we'll explore tafseer of ayats, reflection (tadabbur), spiritual growth, themes like, ihsan, reliance on Allah, finding peace through His words, and creating a meaningful connection with the Qur'an in our daily lives.
What to Expect
We’ll begin with a grounding and breathing relaxation segment to help us arrive fully, settle in, and become present.
Then we’ll move into our Book Club. Bring your copy of the book, audiobook, journal, or simply come as you are.
Together, we’ll read through carefully selected passages from the book, followed by guided journaling and group discussion. Using prompts from the book, we’ll create space for honest conversations around:
Our relationship with the Qur’an
Navigating spiritual highs and lows
Finding tranquility through Allah’s words
Cultivating habits that draw us closer to Him
Most importantly, how we can implement the ayahs into our everyday lives
We’ll finish with a meaningful group activity centred around the Beautiful Names of Allah, creating an opportunity to reflect, connect, and carry what we’ve explored into our lives beyond the gathering.

☕ Light refreshments ( morning tea) will be provided.
📖 Reading the introduction and first chapter beforehand is recommended, but not essential. A PDF sample of the book will be provided upon registration for those who don't yet have a copy.
