Reflexology for Muscles & Nerves
A One-Day Hands-On Workshop created and delivered by Mauricio (Moshe) Kruchik
Movement, posture, stability and coordination are the visible expression of a much deeper physiological dialogue between the nervous and muscular systems. Every movement begins with the nervous system, but it is through muscles that the body breathes, adapts, stabilizes itself, regulates circulation and lymphatic drainage, and maintains functional balance. Understanding this continuous interaction opens new therapeutic possibilities for the Reflexologist.
This workshop explores the intimate relationship between nerves and muscles from an anatomical, physiological and clinical Reflexology perspective. Rather than studying these systems separately, participants will learn how they cooperate to regulate movement, posture, pain, breathing and many of the body's adaptive mechanisms. Throughout the workshop, participants will discover how specific nerves and strategically selected muscles influence one another, and how their combined reflexological stimulation can support functional organization, improve mobility, optimize postural balance and enhance the body's natural capacity for regulation.
Original Reflexology techniques developed as part of The Kruchik Method will be presented within a logical clinical framework, allowing every technique to be understood not simply as a procedure, but as part of an integrated therapeutic methodology.
Particular attention will be given to the functional relationships between muscles, nerves, connective tissues and movement, providing participants with practical tools that can be immediately incorporated into daily clinical practice.
This workshop is especially valuable for Reflexologists who have completed TOP I – Reflexology for the Treatment of Pain.
The concepts introduced here naturally expand the clinical reasoning developed in TOP I, adding a deeper understanding of neuromuscular function and offering new therapeutic possibilities for patients presenting with pain, movement dysfunction and postural imbalance. Designed as a fully practical hands-on workshop, participants will spend the majority of the day learning, practicing and integrating each technique under direct supervision, ensuring immediate confidence in their clinical application.

Workshop Highlights
This workshop combines anatomy, physiology, clinical reasoning and practical Reflexology into a coherent therapeutic approach, allowing participants to better understand the functional relationship between muscles and nerves and immediately integrate this knowledge into everyday clinical practice.
Cranio-Cervical integration:
Head, Neck and Upper Body Function
The workshop begins by exploring the functional relationship between the Trapezius, Sternocleidomastoid, Scalene muscles and the Trigeminal Nerve, emphasizing their contribution to postural organization, cervical mobility, breathing mechanics and craniofacial regulation.
Participants will learn original Reflexology techniques designed to support neuromuscular balance throughout this highly integrated functional region.
Axial stability, breathing and postural control
Special attention is given to the interaction between the Multifidus muscle, the Spinal Nerves, the Diaphragm and the Phrenic Nerve. Participants will explore how spinal stability, diaphragmatic function and respiratory mechanics influence posture, movement efficiency and the body's adaptive responses.
Core stability, movement and locomotion
Movement begins long before muscles contract. Through the study of the Iliopsoas, Transversus Abdominis, Quadratus Lumborum, the Sacral Plexus and the Sciatic Nerve, participants will develop a deeper understanding of how the body generates stability, transfers force and coordinates efficient locomotion.
The workshop demonstrates how Reflexology can support functional movement by improving the physiological cooperation between these key neuromuscular structures.
