Faculty:

Rebekah Davey is a former professional Principal Ballerina with an extensive international career spanning Hong Kong, Denmark, Canada and Australia. A graduate of The Australian Ballet School, Rebekah performed principal and soloist roles including the Sugar Plum Fairy, Cinderella and Clara, and toured internationally with The Phantom of the Opera. Since retiring from the stage, she has dedicated herself to coaching the next generation of dancers, specialising in elite ballet training, technique and conditioning. Rebekah is a Registered RAD Teacher and now works as a Freelance Elite Ballet Coach, bringing her wealth of professional experience and passion for ballet to aspiring young dancers.

Midori Lotz is an experienced ballet teacher, former professional dancer and graduate of The Australian Ballet School. A former member of Houston Ballet Company, Midori holds a Royal Academy of Dance (RAD) Professional Dancer’s Postgraduate Teaching Certificate and is a Registered RAD Teacher and Examiner. She brings extensive knowledge of classical ballet technique, performance and dancer development to her teaching, complemented by qualifications in Pilates Rehabilitation, Yoga and Fitness. Midori is passionate about helping dancers develop strong technique, artistry, body awareness and confidence.

Andrea Etheridge is the Principal and Artistic Director of Hinterland Dance Academy, a Registered RAD Teacher and Licensed Silver Swans Instructor. She holds a Certificate of Ballet Teaching Studies from the Royal Academy of Dance and a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Dance from the University of Arizona. Her professional training and performance career spans Canada, the USA, Italy, Singapore and international cruise productions, including further training with The Boston Conservatory and River North Chicago Dance Company. Andrea is passionate about developing strong, confident and versatile dancers and sharing her extensive experience and love of dance with the next generation.
