House Dance Drama 2026
Imagine you are a bird, trapped in a cage – but now the cage door is open.
You see another bird outside the cage.
Do you stay with what you know, or do you spread your wings and fly away?
This was the stimulus for this year's House Dance Drama.
Students were asked to respond to this stimulus by incorporating a transformation of place and a creative use of space into their performances.
The students wrote their own plays, choreographed their own dances and created all of their own props.
