The Rosewood Ramble brings together heritage displays, shared memories, classic home cooking, gardening, and local creativity.
MORNING RAMBLE Start your morning with a wander through Rosewood:
• Heritage themed displays in local businesses • Signage around town as part of the Rosewood Heritage Trail • Rosewood Ramble Quiz Competition with quirky questions + prize draws • Look for Thelma the Theropod’s footprints to find participating businesses • Lions Club members in vintage clothes running a sausage sizzle outside George’s Garage • Old Pub Menu at the Royal George Hotel • Display and morning tea at the CWA Rooms.
GARDEN PARTY AT THE HUT 1pm – 5pm · The Hut, 79 Matthew Street, Rosewood
• Launch of the Rosewood History Group’s Oral History Project – Dr Toni Risson in conversation with older Rosewood residents • Displays & demos: home cookery, home crafts, home gardens • Music by the Rosewood Community Choir • CWA Country Kitchen recipes and display in the hall
KITCHEN CORNER • Classic Rosewood recipes & “grandma classics” • Cooking on a budget • Taste and create heritage dishes • Community Food Project involvement
OUT IN THE GARDEN • Afternoon tea supported by the Community Centre, Community Garden stall with flower & vegetable seedlings • Propagated plants for sale • Crop swap: bring excess produce or cuttings to exchange • Flower arrangements on tables • Spring gardeners showcasing their blooms.

This is a free event, but it would help for catering purposes if you let us know you are coming. Please register and tell us if you plan to be there for the Rosewood Ramble Quiz, the afternoon Garden Party and if you wish to have afternoon tea.
