Join Candice Stower, author of the HPAI Engagement Officer Report 2026, as she presents the findings from the Egg Farmers of Australia engagement project examining Australia's preparedness for High Pathogenicity Avian Influenza (HPAI/H5 bird flu).This webinar will provide an overview of the project's key findings, stakeholder insights, emerging biosecurity risks, and recommendations to strengthen preparedness across the Australian egg industry. The session will also explore opportunities for improved collaboration between industry and government to enhance Australia's response capability.
The report is based on engagement undertaken between May 2025 and February 2026 with egg producers, veterinarians, industry representatives and government agencies.
Attendees will have the opportunity to hear directly from the report author and participate in a live Q&A session.
