We are pleased to welcome Susan McLean to MGSC. Susan is Australia’s leading cyber safety expert and a former Victoria Police officer, known nationally as the ‘Cyber Cop’. Drawing on 27 years of policing experience and decades of working with young people, schools and families, Susan will provide parents with practical tools to navigate the challenges of the online world. The session will explore cyberbullying, social media, online risks, digital boundaries and how parents can respond when things go wrong. An invaluable opportunity for parents to build their confidence, knowledge and practical strategies to help keep young people safe online.Susan has been very influential and prominent in supporting the age restrictions on social media in Australia and more recently the concern of AI and student images, appearing on many TV and radio channels.
