ECU ARC Discovery Grant Writing Workshop
Supporting the DVCR’s desire to implement a grant writing program to support ARC and NHMRC applications, Research Services are coordinating delivery of an extensive writing support program for ARC Discovery, NHMRC Ideas and NHMRC Investigator Schemes for applications in 2027. This framework will consist of three face-to-face workshops facilitated by an external provider, one internal review of a draft application provided by appropriate ECU senior academics and two external reviews by external provider.
Given that the ARC Discovery Projects scheme (DP28) will be running again (anticipated opening February 2027) we will be offering these workshops to any interested applicants during September- November. The workshops will focus on research question formation, project quality, investigator capability, feasibility, impact and national benefit with the current guidelines and assessment weightings.
If you are intending to apply for an ARC DP28 please contact research-preaward@ecu.edu.au as soon as possible.
