High stakes and thwarted love; The Opera Room proudly presents highlights from the operas Don Carlo and Il Trovatore by Giuseppe Verdi.International tenor Diego Torre is joined by a wonderful cast in a performance of Verdi's most thrilling 'best-bits'.
Featuring mezzo-soprano Angela Hogan, baritone Michael Honeyman, soprano Louise Keast, bass Anthony Mackey, and pianist Bradley Gilchrist.
Audiences are in for a rousing afternoon of opera in the heritage listed Cello's Dining Room at the Castlereagh Boutique Hotel. Arrive early for a pre-performance drink in the Adams Room (Level 4) or Reagh Bar. These operas by Verdi are so packed full of passion and politics, you'll have much to discuss over dinner in the The Alcoves Restaurant (Level 2) after the performance.
