Eligibility Criteria
- Senior Registered Nurse working in a Critical Care Area
- Advance knowledge of Advance Life Support
- Recent ALS qualification
- Commitment to deliver 2 (8 hour) ALS sessions per calendar year
- Commitment to instructor recertification biannually

Instructor Certification
This program incorporates BLS and ALS training and assessment, including
ALS Recertification and presentation of Advanced Life Support courses.

This external credentialing gives hospitals the confidence that instructors are equipped with the knowledge and skills to coordinate internal ALS courses based on evidence-based teaching principles and the recommendations of the Australian Resuscitation Council (ARC).
