The annual HFV Bleeding Disorders Awareness Month (BDAM) Walk around Albert Park Lake is on again, and this year is a very important one. As part of our efforts to raise awareness of our need for continued funding by the Victorian government, this year’s walk will be a great opportunity to really showcase what this community means to its members and supporters.
💃 Dress in red and bring your friends and family (your dog is also welcome!).
🌭 Our Youth Leadership Team will be cooking up a storm on the barbie for a gold coin donation to raise funds for our youth team events. Bring your appetite and spare change!
🥤 Drinks will not be provided so please BYO. There are also drinking fountains nearby.
📸 Photos and videos will be taken on the day. Please fill out the media consent form and your preferences will be respected.
🎁 Buy raffle tickets to go into the draw to win one of 2 Devcos hampers valued at $300!
📝 A sign-up sheet will be ready upon arrival, so please make sure you register.
We are going BIG this year. If you’d like to volunteer, please let us know by answering the questions coming up and we will be in contact with you to make arrangements. Let’s use this event to prove to the decision makers that HFV is an essential part of the bleeding disorders community!
Families are more than welcome to bring along games or sports equipment to play with.
And if you can't manage the walk, drop in for a delicious snag to raise money for our youth team and join us!
Parking is available for a flat rate of $8.20 for the day.
