Discover Drones - LaTrobe Regional Airport
Take to the skies with a practical, hands-on introduction to drone technology and its real-world applications.
Delivered by TAFE Gippsland in partnership with Falcon UAV, Discover Drones is 3-hour experience led by certified industry professionals. You can expect the start of the session to focus on interactive classroom learning, covering drone technology, safe operations and its use across a growing range of industries.
Towards the end of the session, participants will put their learning into practice with a hands-on opportunity to fly a drone under expert supervision.
No experience is required. Perfect for professionals, hobbyists, students and anyone curious about drone technology.

Weather conditions
Practical drone flying is weather-dependent. To ensure the safety of participants and instructors, the workshop may be postponed or cancelled if weather conditions are unsuitable for safe drone operation. Registered participants will be contacted as soon as possible if any changes are required.
