Join us for a special piano recital by 13-year-old pianist and composer Daniyel Min Jiang.Daniyel began studying piano and composition at age 9½. By age 11, he had memorised and performed all 32 Beethoven Piano Sonatas within one month. Alongside classical performance, he is a prolific young composer with more than 100 original works.
In 2026, Daniyel received the AYCMC Regional Audience Prize and Runner-up Award, 3rd Place at the Ringwood Eisteddfod performing his own composition, and a Musica Viva “Strike A Chord” Championship Section Achievement Award as a member of Cadence Trio. He also received an Official Commendation and Medal from Government House Victoria following his second solo recital invitation.
This recital features music by Beethoven and Chopin, together with Daniyel’s own improvisation.
