About
Year 12 Performance Evening - Thursday 10th SeptemberJoin us for an evening showcasing the musical achievements of our Year 12 students as they present their complete performance programs in preparation for their VCE Music Performance examination.
Each student will perform their full 20-minute program as a solo student, or a 25-minute program for students performing as part of a group.
This is an important opportunity for students to experience the demands of a complete examination performance and demonstrate the preparation, musicianship, technical skills and performance craft they have developed throughout the year.
Students will be assessed against the VCAA performance criteria, with performances evaluated by specialist instrumentalist assessors. The evening therefore provides an authentic examination-style experience and valuable feedback as students refine their programs ahead of their final VCE assessment.
We look forward to celebrating the dedication, musicality and hard work of our Year 12 performers and sharing this significant milestone with family, friends and the wider school community. We also request that the audience replicate the experience in the room by not clapping after every song in a students program, instead (not like in the exams), we will celebrate this milestone at the end of their program.

This evening will run for approximately 55 minutes.
