Yours, Georgina is the musical project of Albury-raised singer-songwriter, Georgie Currie. She draws her name from the gut-punching honesty of her cursive songwriting and the rare and arresting strength of her voice.Well Into Winter is an alternative folk-rock band fronted by singer-songwriter, Alex Cameron, also raised in Albury and now based in Naarm/Melbourne. Well Into Winter mixes the beauty of folk songwriting with rock arrangements.
Georgie and Alex met when they joined the folk-pop 11-piece, The Northern Folk. Together they played countless shows with the group for over a decade until The Northern Folk called time in late 2025.
For Yours, Georgina and Well Into Winter, this show is a coming back together of sorts, and comes fresh off the heels of new releases for both acts. Earlier this year, Yours, Georgina released ‘Keepers’: a song infused with twang and longing for home, and ‘Dazzling’: a gentle, shimmering ballad about the words left unsaid. Meanwhile, Well Into Winter recently released their sophomore record ‘Reckless Anatomy’, a lush and deeply personal exploration of new life and the struggles we undertake to create an improved world.
Catch Yours, Georgina and Well Into Winter at The Yackandandah Courthouse on Friday 11th of September for an evening of rich and tender songwriting and storytelling.
