Join me as we descend the steps into Melbourne's literary heart: The Moat is a cosy Euro-style bar and restaurant tucked beneath the State Library of Victoria.Look forward to an afternoon connecting with an intimate group of writers over books, aperitivo and conversations that wander like a first draft.
The book: The Midnight Library by Matt Haig
(As much as I'd love to say "meet me at midnight", we'll be there at the respectable time of 4pm. )
Your ticket includes:
– Drink on arrival (house wine, tap beer or soft drink)
– A selection of antipasto starters including cheese and charcuterie, plus twice-cooked chat potatoes
– Book club discussion
– Time to mingle and chat in an intimate group of like-minded writers
Writers of any level are welcome. Come solo or with a friend!
