About

Seven misremembered figures from aviation history live again. They are brought together by Amelia Earhart to retell their stories, in the hope that their spirits will finally find rest.

The show mainly follows SALLY RIDE, NASA’s first female astronaut. After returning from her first spaceflight, she is existential about what her life will be. Will she just become another footnote in the history books? She is visited by her hero, AMELIA EARHART, who offers her and six other misremembered aviators a chance to tell their stories again to a whole new generation.

This project is supported by the Regional Arts Development Fund (RADF). RADF is a partnership between the Queensland Government and Logan City Council to support local arts and culture in regional Queensland.

Flight runs for approximately 90 minutes.

Beenleigh Theatre Group prefers a cashless payment system. However, limited cash is available for giving change.

Parking:

Crete Street Theatre has access to an underground carpark (free) located UNDER the Beenleigh Events Centre, attached to the Theatre. There is also free street parking available.

Accessible Parking is located on Kent Street directly in front of the the theatre entrance.

Please note: if the Beenleigh Events Centre has an event on during one of our performances, parking becomes very limited. We recommend arriving at least 20 minutes prior to the start of the show.

At any time this event may be cancelled or postponed. In the event that this happens, ticket holders will be offered refunds or transfers to a new session.
