Making Moves is Movement Nation's rookie battle series: built to give new gens a chance to shine.
1v1, open styles, capped at 40 dancers.

RUNNING ORDER (More detailed order will come out closer to the event)

4:30PM — Battler check-in opens, Doors open to audience
5:00PM — Event starts
8:30PM — Finish

FORMAT
All 40 battlers dance a solo prelim round. Judges select the Top 16, who then go into a seeded single-elimination bracket: Top 16 → Top 8 → Semi-Finals →Judge showcase - Final.

PRIZES
Winner — $150 cash, certificate and Movement Nation merch
Runner-up — $100 cash and certificate

ELIGIBILITY — PLEASE READ
This is a rookie division. To enter you must NOT have made it PAST Top 16 in an open-level battle. This means you CAN enter if you have made Top 16, but not if you have progressed beyond it. Placings in kids battles and rookie divisions do not count against your eligibility.

Eligibility is subject to organiser's discretion and we may ask you to withdraw if your record is outside the division. If you are unsure whether you qualify, contact us BEFORE booking — no refunds are issued for ineligible entries discovered after registration.

TICKET TYPES
Battler (Early Bird) — $25, available until 11:59PM Monday 31 August
Battler (Standard) — $30
Audience — $20
Battlers do not need a separate audience ticket.

IMPORTANT
Battler spots are capped at 40 and are allocated on a first-paid, first-in basis. Please arrive by 4:45PM on the day — battlers who have not checked in by 4:55PM may forfeit their spot.
