After the introduction, there will be a presentation of the comedy classic, The Flying Deuces (1939).
“Stan and Ollie are in Paris when Ollie falls head-over-heels for a charming innkeeper’s daughter — only to discover she’s already married. Heartbroken, they absurdly decide the only cure is to enlist in the French Foreign Legion together. What follows is a riotous chain of misadventures: bungled military training, chaotic camp life, wrongful desertion charges — and, in true Laurel & Hardy style, a madcap escape via stolen plane. Between the slapstick chaos, a surreal jail-cell harp solo, and a whimsical musical number, this is a full-length feature that blends romance, despair, and classic physical comedy into one unforgettable ride.
