ONSITE Labour Refresher / TOLAC Class
About
This Labour refresher / Trial of Labour after Caesarean (TOLAC) session is for families who have had a previous labour & birthing experience and would like to refresh their knowledge of labour & birth.Maybe it's been a few years since your last baby, you birthed at a different hospital previously or would like more information around Trial of Labour after having a previous Caesarean Section - this class is for you!
You will have the opportunity to ask questions and cover topics you are wanting information about.
This might include things such as: Stages of & coping with labour, when to come to hospital, pain relief, care after birth or feeding baby.
The session is ONSITE at MHW.
Date: Thursday 15 October 2026
Time: 12.30-2.30pm
Location: Level 3, Mercy Hospital for Women, Heidelberg
Please Note:
- 1 ticket is for 2 people (Birthing parent +1 support person) to the class
- Please ensure you use the pregnant person's name when you book
- You must provide your Mercy Hospital for Women (Heidelberg) Medical Record Number to book in. We will check that you are booked in to have your baby at MHW.
- You will receive a confirmation email from Trybooking once you have booked.
Payments & Refunds
- Each family is eligible for ONE ticket only. This includes the pregnant person + 1 support person.
Medicare card ticket - FREE - when pregnant person:
- is booked to birth as a public patient at MHW
- has a valid Medicare card (or eligible for reciprocal rights)
No Medicare card ticket - $220 when pregnant person
- is booked to birth as a private patient at Mercy Hospital for Women
Cancelling / Rescheduling
- If you are unable to attend, please CANCEL your booking through the trybooking website, otherwise contact Parent Education ASAP to cancel your spot. This will enable someone else to book the seats.
- If you can't attend the class, we are able to provide further written resources, but another class may not be available for a number of weeks.
Suitable to attend from 26 weeks of pregnancy.
