About
Peter Morén is one of the founding members of Swedish indie-icons Peter Bjorn And John. He has previously toured Australia with them. He's now coming back down under as guitarist/backing vocalist in Robert Forster's Swedish band (Peter produced his latest album "Strawberries" in Stockholm) Peter has recently primarily worked as SunYears releasing two acclaimed albums (2023s "Come Fetch My Soul!" and 2025s "The Song Forlorn"). With a variety of sonics ranging from wistful folk, Beatles-esque harmonies, psychedelic guitar jangle to shimmering balladry the melodic wisdom of SunYears on record has brought in guest vocals from Ron Sexmith and Fruit Bats.Live with just a guitar Peter is free to skip between SunYears material, covers of favorites and maybe the occasional Peter Bjorn And John-classic.
