Now they’ve expanded to the Noosaville Foreshore, bringing pure Italian hospitality to one of the region’s most stunning waterfront settings. Teneille Newton – Co-Founder, Noosa Black Garlic
Dynamic force at the intersection of health, food innovation and brand strategy. A lifelong foodie and qualified naturopath with more than 25 years of clinical experience, Teneille built her career on one powerful belief: exceptional food is the foundation of exceptional health.
Before creating Australia’s largest and most awarded black garlic brand, she spent 17 years leading international education and marketing at MediHerb/Integria Healthcare across ANZ, the US and global markets. She drove major rebrands, website transformations, global strategies and product development while educating thousands of health professionals worldwide as a sought-after keynote speaker.
From her base in Noosa Shire, Teneille and her husband Tony have turned slow-aged black garlic into a national phenomenon — celebrated on restaurant menus and in premium gourmet retailers, with export firmly in sight. Their product delivers deep umami, is FODMAP-friendly, easy to digest and packed with protective antioxidants.
In 2025 Noosa Black Garlic was named Business of the Year at the Sunshine Coast Business Awards (also taking Food & Agribusiness – Small and a Sustainability finalist place). In 2024 Teneille herself was awarded Small Business Woman of the Year and named a finalist for Sustainable Business Woman of the Year.
