Mountaingrass 2026 annual fundraising raffle featuring as first prize a beautiful, hand-crafted Ray Black mandolin A5-108 valued at $3445. The raffle is drawn 4.20 pm AEDT on Sunday 15 November at the Mountaingrass Festival.

First prize: Ray Black Custom Mandolin A5-108 Value: $3445
Second Prize: D'Addario Instrument Accessories and Maintenance Pack Value: $503

Fourth Prize: Jan Dale Southern Style 12 CD set Value: $240

First prize: Ray Black Custom Mandolin A5-108 Value: $3445
Built by Ray Black in his workshop in Victoria. This mandolin has a top of Alaskan Sitka Spruce. The back, neck and sides are Fiddleback Blackwood sourced from the Otway Ranges (Victoria). The bridge and fretboard are of African Ebony. The tuners are Gotoh, tailpiece by RB and strings DR Mediums. The mandolin is finished in 60% gloss lacquer and comes in a custom fiberglass case.
