About

Come and learn about opportunities to engage with Australia's Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade (DFAT) and its suppliers in delivering Australia's Development Program.

Participants will have the opportunity to connect with DFAT representatives, development partners, and other organisations interested in delivering Australia's Development Program.

Target participants for this event are those who are currently working in the development sector or interested in working with DFAT in the Development program for example:
• Consultants
• Contractors
• Suppliers
• Civil society organisations, NGOs or Academic Institutions
• Relevant personnel of development partners/diplomatic missions
• Other interested individuals/agencies/institutions

This is a FREE event and will be in-person only.

Breakfast will be provided. Registrations will commence from 7:15am.

Due to Asian Development Bank (ADB) security and registration requirements, attendance at the Doing Business with DFAT Breakfast is limited to participants who are registered for the Asian Development Bank Business Opportunities Fair (ADB BOF). If you indicate that you are not already registered to attend the ADB BOF, your registration will be removed, and you should not make plans to attend this event.

As places are strictly limited, each supplier will be limited to a maximum 2 tickets. Registration will be open until COB Thursday, 17 September 2026 or until event capacity is reached. Where more than two registrations are received from the same organisation, later registrations may be cancelled unless alternative arrangements have been agreed with DFAT.
