About

Fathom
Sydney band Fathom breaks the Guinness World Record for the most concerts in 12 hours across multiple cities, starting in Singleton, Newcastle, Gosford, Sydney, Penrith, Lithgow, Bathurst, Goulburn and Canberra.
Fathom is a dream pop duo from Sydney, who seamlessly blend synth pop and indie rock with dreamy and stream-of-conciousness lyrics. Their synth rock essence and moody songwriting is reminiscent of Beach House, Crumb, Mazzy Star and The Cranberries. After playing shows around Sydney since 2022, they made their festival debut in Deniliquin at the most recent Play on the Plains Festival, performing alongside King Gizzard and the Lizard Wizzard and Alex Lahey.
Their recent EP ‘With Good Intentions’ came out late 2025, combining pop, rock, and T S Elliot poetry, which saw much success on Australian community radio as well as support from triple j’s Ebony Jade “This song gives me the same sort of feeling as Mazzy Star does whenever she finds her way into my playlist. Such a beautiful rainy day song” on it’s second track, Paralysed.
In mid-2026, Fathom will be attempting the Guinness World Record for the Most Concerts performed in 12 Hours (multiple cities), where they will play 9 shows in 12 hours across NSW and ACT.

Good Lightning
Good Lightning started as the music project of Grady Emerson. With the want to play a one off show for his then-upcoming EP, Demo(lition), he got guitarist, Kieran Brown, and drummer, Max Ringland, on board. However, as time went on, the guys found themselves just becoming a band with a lot more to share than just a one off show. With a love of many different genres, the lads write songs in a mishmash of styles though mostly rooted in an alt/indie rock sound. Even though the one off show never came to pass, the fellas have been playing around Canberra ever since and are working on becoming a staple of the Canberra music scene.

Nightswim
Swirling landscapes, syrupy choruses against crushing guitars, and dynamic contrasts going from earthquakes to kaleidoscopic moments. Forming in 2024, Nightswim has been one of Canberra’s most exciting exports into the Australian music scene. Nightswim is James Watters on vocals and guitar, Izak Lindsay on vocals and guitar, Chi Canty on bass guitar and Sam Noakes on drums. Nightswim is influenced by a mix of psychedelic, dreampop, and alternative rock artists such as Smashing Pumpkins, Thee Oh Sees, Dinosaur Jr, The Replacements, and My Bloody Valentine. Dreamy passages followed by crushing fuzz are familiar hallmarks of the bands live shows, with the aesthetics of both chamber pop and heavy metal coalescing to make a transcendent audial trip. Releasing their debut double single “Fooled Me Twice // Pull the String” in November of last year, Nightswim has seen their following increase through frequent captivating live shows, winning over audiences alike.
