We are inviting stallholders, food vendors, retailers, community organisations and businesses to join us for a spectacular Festival of Lights celebration in the heart of Harris Park.

Diwali Harris Park 2026 will transform Wigram Street into a colourful celebration of food, culture, entertainment, shopping and community.
Visitors can expect a vibrant festival atmosphere filled with lights, colour, music, delicious food and unique market stalls celebrating the spirit of Diwali.
Stallholders Wanted
We are seeking a diverse range of stallholders, including:

Your stallholder booking is confirmed instantly once your booking and payment have been successfully completed through TryBooking.
There is no separate application process, so once your payment has been processed, you can consider your stall booked for Diwali Harris Park 2026.
In the unlikely event that Event Management is unable to accommodate your booking for any reason, we will contact you as soon as possible and provide a full refund of your stallholder booking fee within 48 hours.
Event Management reserves the right to manage the overall stallholder mix, event layout and stall locations to ensure the best possible experience for visitors and traders.

Please ensure that the information you provide during your booking is complete and accurate, including:
Business or trading name
Contact details
Type of stall
Products or services being offered
Food type, if applicable
Power requirements
Stall size and equipment requirements
Any other relevant operational information
Specific stall positions cannot be guaranteed unless otherwise confirmed by Event Management in writing.
Stallholder Requirements
All stallholders are responsible for ensuring they meet all relevant legal, safety and event requirements.
Depending on your stall type, you may be required to provide:
Current Public Liability Insurance
Relevant food business registrations or permits
Food safety documentation
Appropriate licences or approvals
Electrical testing and tagging documentation where applicable
Safe and compliant stall equipment
Appropriate marquee weights and securing equipment
All stallholders must comply with directions issued by Event Management, Council representatives, security, traffic management personnel and other authorised event staff.
Food Vendors
Food vendors must comply with all applicable food safety and hygiene requirements.
You may be required to provide documentation relating to your food business prior to the event.
Food vendors are responsible for ensuring all cooking equipment, gas appliances, electrical equipment, refrigeration, handwashing facilities and food preparation areas comply with relevant regulations and event requirements.
Additional information will be provided to confirmed food vendors prior to the event.
Stall Equipment
Unless specifically included in the stall type you purchase, stallholders should assume they are responsible for supplying their own equipment, including:
Marquee
Tables
Chairs
Display equipment
Signage
Lighting
Extension leads
Approved electrical equipment
Marquee weights
Waste bins and cleaning equipment
All equipment must be suitable for outdoor event use and safely secured.
Trading Hours
The event will be open to the public from:
1:00pm – 9:00pm
Stallholders will be required to arrive prior to the public opening time for bump-in and setup.
Exact bump-in times, access arrangements and unloading instructions will be provided closer to the event.
All stalls must be completely set up and ready to trade before the event opens.
Stallholders must remain operational for the full event trading period and must not begin packing down before 9:00pm unless authorised by Event Management.
Bump-In & Bump-Out
A detailed Stallholder Information Pack will be sent to confirmed stallholders prior to the event and will include:
Stall allocation
Bump-in time
Bump-out instructions
Vehicle access information
Loading and unloading arrangements
Parking information
Event map
Power information
Waste requirements
Emergency procedures
Event-day contacts
Please ensure the email address and mobile number entered during your booking are correct, as these details will be used for important event communications.
Stall Allocations
Stall locations are allocated by Event Management based on the overall event layout, operational requirements, stall type, power requirements, pedestrian flow and other event considerations.
While requests may be considered, specific locations cannot be guaranteed.
Event Management may make reasonable changes to stall positions or event layouts where required for safety, operations or event delivery.
Weather & Event Conditions
Diwali Harris Park is an outdoor event.
Stallholders should be prepared to trade in normal outdoor weather conditions and ensure their marquees, products, signage and equipment are appropriately protected and secured.
Any updates regarding significant weather conditions or event changes will be communicated to stallholders where required.
Keeping the Event Clean
All stallholders are responsible for keeping their site clean and presentable throughout the event.
At the conclusion of the event, stallholders must remove all:
Rubbish
Packaging
Food waste
Decorations
Equipment
Stall materials
Sites must be left clean and clear following bump-out.
Important Booking Conditions
By completing your booking, you acknowledge that:
Your stall booking is confirmed upon successful payment.
Stall locations are determined by Event Management.
You are responsible for ensuring your business and stall comply with all relevant laws, regulations and event requirements.
You must follow all reasonable directions from Event Management and authorised event personnel.
You must trade for the full advertised trading period unless otherwise approved.
You must provide any required licences, permits, insurance or compliance documentation before the event.
Event Management may make reasonable changes to the event layout, operating arrangements or stall allocations when necessary.
If Event Management is unable to accommodate your booking, you will receive a full refund within 48 hours of being notified.
