A small table, six Italian wines, and a relaxed Saturday evening exploring Italy one glass at a time.
Join us at Bellevue Cellars on Saturday, 29 August for our second guided tasting night — an intimate journey through six very different expressions of Italian wine.
We’ll begin in the cool alpine vineyards of Alto Adige, travel through central and southern Italy, and finish by heading back north for a classic Barolo finale.
Only 15 guests will join us around the table, keeping the evening personal, relaxed and conversational.
No wine knowledge needed.
Just come curious, taste along, ask questions, compare favourites and enjoy the journey.
Come with a friend, come as a couple, or simply pull up a chair and meet a few neighbours over a glass.

🍷 Six wines. Six different sides of Italy.
Over the evening, we’ll taste our way through:
• A fresh alpine Pinot Grigio from Alto Adige
• A textured Fiano di Avellino DOCG from Campania
• A dry sparkling red from Emilia-Romagna that may change the way you think about Lambrusco
• A classic Chianti Classico DOCG from Tuscany
• A warm, generous southern Italian red from Puglia
• And finally, ⭐ Barolo DOCG from Piedmont
We’ll keep the full line-up for the evening itself — part of the fun is discovering each wine as we go.

Michael Saunders will guide us through the six wines, sharing the stories behind the regions, the styles and what makes each glass different.
This isn’t a formal wine class.
Expect a relaxed, conversational tasting where questions are welcome, opinions can differ, and there are no wrong answers.

Light Italian-style nibbles will be served alongside the wines throughout the evening.
Enough to complement the tasting and keep things social — this is a wine tasting rather than a full dinner.

Every ticket also includes a $15 wine credit to use towards any bottle of wine in store on the day.
It doesn’t have to be one of the six wines we taste.
If something inspires you during the evening — or another bottle on our shelves catches your eye — the choice is yours.
