No previous painting experience necessary
Parents/guardians who would like to paint alongside their child are welcome to book an additional place
Join artist and qualified teacher Rosie Nixon for a fun and creative workshop celebrating the wonderful world of mini beasts!
Participants will choose their favourite colourful and vibrant insects, butterflies or moths as inspiration for their own artwork. They will explore observational drawing, painting, colour and mark making to create a unique and colourful mini-beast composition.
Throughout the workshop, participants will be encouraged to embrace a growth mindset, experiment with confidence, and discover that every artwork is unique. We celebrate process over perfection, helping each participant develop their artistic skills while expressing their own creative style and voice.
Perfect for beginners and budding young artists alike, this workshop is packed with colour, creativity, confidence, and fun!
About Rosie
Rosie is a teacher with over 25 years of experience and an emerging still-life artist. She combines her love of teaching and art to create engaging workshops that encourage participants to explore their own creativity.
Through her workshops, Rosie shares her own artistic process, helping participants develop practical drawing and painting skills that they can continue to use in their own artwork.

We want every child to enjoy a fun, safe, and creative experience.
Please let us know before the workshop if your child has any medical conditions, allergies, sensory sensitivities, or attention, focus, or behavioural needs that may affect their participation. This helps us support them as best we can.
Our workshops are run in a group setting and are not able to provide one-on-one supervision or specialised support. If your child requires individual assistance, a parent, guardian, or support person may be asked to stay during the session.
