Australia’s most highly credentialled and experienced bluegrass band celebrates an extraordinary four decades of music and you’re invited to join the party at Fremantle Workers Club on 24 October.

For 40 years, Bluegrass Parkway has brought the authentic spirit of bluegrass to Australian stages performing around a single microphone, just as the genre’s pioneers did in the 1940s, creating a thrilling live experience filled with movement, energy and musicianship.

Expect masterful picking, soaring harmonies and the unmistakable sound of traditional bluegrass from the music of Bill Monroe and the Stanley Brothers to adventurous material from the genre’s cutting edge.

This special anniversary concert is a rare chance to experience bluegrass as it was meant to be played: live, lively and up close.
