Naarm band BB Sabina celebrate the release of their long awaited album ‘Dissolve’ with an intimate show in the red room at the Merri Creek Tavern. ‘Dissolve’ is an immersive, sprawling album built around themes of transformation, transcendence and the act of letting go. Across its seven-track landscape, layered shoegaze guitars collide with pulsing atmospheric synths, trip-hop rhythms and post-rock dynamics, shifting between moments of intensity and space to create something vibrant, surreal and transportive.Joined by local shoegaze trio Nausicaa, known for their "explosive noise catharsis", Nausicaa’s music exists in the tension between haunting minimalism and abrasive grit. Drawing on the ghostly melancholy of Mazzy Star and the raw, avant-garde power of PJ Harvey and Sonic Youth.
