Hit the court these school holidays!Experienced coaches from Baseline Tennis Academy Cairns are making the trip to Cooktown for three afternoons of FREE tennis clinics, giving secondary-aged young people the chance to sharpen their skills, get active and enjoy some serious court time.
Designed for young people aged 12+, each three-hour clinic will combine tennis coaching, skill development, games and plenty of opportunities to rally, practice and challenge yourself in a fun and supportive environment.
You don’t need to be an experienced player to join in. Whether you’re picking up a racquet for the first time, getting back into tennis or looking to take your game up a notch, the sessions are designed to help participants build skills, confidence and teamwork while enjoying an active afternoon with others.
Book one afternoon to give it a go, or lock in all three days and make the most of having experienced tennis coaches right here in Cooktown.

What to bring:
Participants should wear comfortable, appropriate clothing and suitable footwear for tennis.
As the clinics will be held outdoors, please also bring:
• Hat
• Sunscreen
• Water bottle
Bookings are essential
Spots are limited, so make sure you register early.
Participants can book one, two or all three afternoons. If attending more than one day, please select the required dates/tickets during the booking process.
These free clinics are supported through the Bushfire Community Recovery Resilience Program, using sport as a way to build confidence, wellbeing, teamwork and stronger connections between young people and the community.
