2027 SADGA Durum Education Tour
In 2027 in lieu of the traditional forum structure, SADGA are changing it up to travel to Horsham for an overnighter including visits to various sites on Monday and the Wimmera Field Days at Horsham on Tuesday.
SADGA are grateful for the financial support for travel, catering and accommodation from The Drought Hub, Grain Growers and SADGA Sponsors which will keep the cost [TBA] to you within an affordable range.
We invite you, your partner and/or colleagues to give a non-binding indication to attend the bus trip. Your EOI will help us put plans in place for logistics, tours, accommodation, catering. Monday 1st March
8.00 am Depart Adelaide via bus to Horsham, Pickups: Keith, Bordertown, Kaniva & Nhill.
12.00 noon Lunch at Bordertown
1.00 pm Travel to Horsham.
3.30 pm (Vic Time) Horsham Agricultural Research Centre, Natimuk Road
4.45 pm Travel to Tim Rethus Farm, Wimmera Highway
4.50 pm Farm Inspection Host Tim Rethus
6.15 pm Travel to Horsham Motel 5 Dimboola Road, Horsham
6.30 pm Walk to the Victoria Hotel for Dinner
Tuesday MARCH 2nd
8.30 am Travel to Field Days Site at Horsham (Field Days Ticket at own cost)
TBA Birchip Cropping Group Speaker Ashlee Tierney at Field Days Admin Centre Conference Room
3.00 pm Depart Field Days for Adelaide
