Reflective Conversations Workshop - Dementia Support
Join us in supporting Dementia Action Week by participating in this interactive workshop.
During this workshop we will explore what it is like for someone living with dementia and how best to support them.
We will use the Exploring Diversity & Wellness Toolkit plus a client’s story to highlight the importance of providing safe and appropriate services to consumers living with dementia.
This workshop will:
- Demonstrate the daily challenges faced by carers, family members, friends and people caring for someone living with dementia.
- Help you consider inclusive service principles and strengthen person-centered care in relation to diversity, wellness and reablement.
- Provide an opportunity to join a reflective conversation on how organisations can best support people living with dementia in line with the strengthened Aged Care Quality Standards.
Target Audience: Staff working within or coordinating CHSP service programs.
This session is free and will be facilitated via Zoom.
