The Jingellic Hub Committee warmly invites you to attend the 2026 Lexus Melbourne Cup Tour visit to Jingellic on Sunday, 4 October 2026.Jingellic has been selected as one of the regional destinations for the 2026 tour, providing a rare opportunity for the Upper Murray community to see the Lexus Melbourne Cup and meet a visiting ambassador with a connection to Australia’s most famous race.
The Walwa Bush Nursing Centre has been nominated as the local charity associated with Jingellic’s participation in the Lexus Melbourne Cup Tour National Sweep.
The community lunch and afternoon program at the Jingellic Hub will start at 12 midday, and include:
· The arrival and official unveiling of the Lexus Melbourne Cup.
· A welcome from community and civic representatives.
· A presentation by the Victoria Racing Club.
· A Q&A with the visiting ambassador.
· Recognition of the Walwa Bush Nursing Centre and the opportunity to donate to this worthy organisation.
· Photographic opportunities with the Cup, ambassador and community.
· A proposed guard of honour involving riders from Rosewood Pony Club.
